Product details
KCLAB CNC-Machined RGB Sim Display
The KCLAB CNC-Machined RGB Sim Display is a compact SimHub-compatible telemetry display designed for sim racers who want key race information visible in the cockpit without relying on monitor overlays.
Instead of putting flags, spotter cues, and gear information on your main screen, this unit gives you a dedicated physical sim racing display that sits in your rig where you can pick up information more naturally during a session. The goal is simple: less screen clutter, faster visual reference, and a setup that feels closer to a proper motorsport-style cockpit.
What It Does
This display is built around a 64-LED RGB matrix and works with SimHub as an Arduino RGB Matrix device.
That means it can be used for:
- flag indicators
- spotter information
- gear display
- additional SimHub telemetry effects and animations
If you already run a SimHub-based setup, integration is straightforward. If you want a cleaner cockpit and less dependence on HUD overlays, this is a very practical upgrade.
Why It Matters
A lot of sim racing setups rely too heavily on on-screen overlays for critical information. That works, but it also adds clutter and pulls attention back to the monitor.
A dedicated RGB telemetry display gives you a more focused way to handle the information you actually need while driving. It is especially useful if you want:
- a cleaner field of view
- a more immersive cockpit layout
- physical telemetry hardware instead of software overlays
- easier pickup of flags and spotter alerts in your peripheral vision
Construction
The housing is machined from 6061 aluminum, giving the unit a rigid and premium feel that fits well in higher-end simulator builds.
Available finishes:
- Silver anodized
- Black anodized
This is not a printed plastic accessory. It is designed to feel like a proper piece of cockpit hardware.
Mounting & Installation
The display connects through USB Type-C, which keeps wiring simple and easy to manage.
It also includes a 6061 aluminum mounting bracket with four display orientations, so you can position it in the way that makes the most sense for your rig layout.
The unit is fully compatible with extrusion-based simulator rigs, making it a good fit for most aluminum profile sim racing cockpits.
Important: You need to connect to USB 2.0 Port on your PC. USB 3.0 Port can not recognize it.
SimHub Compatibility
The display is configured in SimHub as:
- Arduino device
- Arduino RGB Matrix device
That gives you a flexible base for customization depending on:
- the sim you drive
- the cars you use
- the style of telemetry you want visible
- your preferred cockpit layout
In other words, this is not limited to one fixed display behavior. You can keep it simple, or tune it around your own SimHub workflow.

Who It’s For
This display makes the most sense for sim racers who:
- already use SimHub
- want a cleaner screen while driving
- prefer physical telemetry hardware in the cockpit
- are building a more immersive aluminum profile rig
If you just want more things on your monitor, this is probably unnecessary.
If you want to move information out of the screen and into the cockpit, this is exactly what it is for.
